Little known fact about me...I like boxing.

As a little girl I remember my dad watching Mike Tyson box and I loved the fierceness of it.

So of course I watched the Mayweather vs Cotto fight last night.

Which is where I saw the most unlikely couple ever.

Justin Beiber and Floyd Mayweather are BFF???

There are no words.

Apparently "boyfriend" isn't about Selena Gomez after all...

Since its been a million years since I have updated you on the happenings of our family, I am going to attempt to update the blog for the next three days, dedicating each post to one child.

Today I start with Miss Kelsey...

Since my last major update Kelsey has grown up quite a bit!!

She got her braces on!! Um well she got her braces on last year. They are already off!!

Hello gorgeous smile!!!

Kelsey was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in January 2011. It was  a very special day for her. We were so proud of her for choosing to be baptized!!

Kelsey has taken after her dad and has a love of triathlons!! She competed in one full triathlon last summer and I was SOOOO PROUD of her! She and Adam trained quite hard for her race and she came in 1st PLACE in her age group (yes I'm bragging!!!!).  She is signed up for another race this summer and I can't wait to watch her compete!

In November Kelsey broke her arm while at gymnastics.  Initially they thought she needed surgery, but thankfully the bone healed well enough in a cast that surgery was unnecessary.  The good news is Kelsey can now eat and write with both hands!!

Kelsey has a new best bud this year....her name is baby Dylan! Kelsey LOVES spending time with Dylan and is an amazing helper. If I need Kelsey to do anything for me she is always happy to do it, whether its throwing out dirty diapers or entertaining Dylan so I can cook dinner. She is going to be an amazing mom one day I can tell!!

Kelsey is smart, funny, so talented, kind and energetic. She has the warmest, inviting personality. The older she gets, the more I realize she is actually a lot of fun.  Love you Kels!!! So proud to call you my daughter!

Life 2 years later...

My blogging sucks. 

For reals.

So its been almost 2 years since my last update and as you can imagine a lot has happened in the last 2 years.  The biggest change is WE HAD A BABY!! Her name is Dylan Lea Christensen. She was born on September 4, 2011 and was 5 lbs 2 oz. She was a one month early and had pneumonia so she had a short stay in the NICU. After a week she came home with us and has been the most perfect baby!! We love her so much and our completely obsessed with everything she does.  Kelsey and Maya adore being big sisters and are such amazing helpers!

I am going to do my best to update this blog on a semi regular basis.  Since I do not journal, this is the only way I have of keeping a record of the happenings in our life!
