School starts...

School has started....

Which means summer has ended....

I say thumbs down to both...

However, the little ladies are VERY excited for school to have started! These are their "first day of school" pictures. Behind the camera, I was shedding a tear for this summer that has flown by much too quickly!

Kelsey is in second grade and Maya is in her last year of preschool. They are growing up so fast. They actually look like "little ladies" now!!

I love you girls so much! Have a great year at school!!!

Reunited and it feels so good...

Anyone who reads my blog should know by now how much I LOVE it when my sisters and I are all together. I am truly at my happiest when I am surrounded by my family and each one of us are present and accounted for. Rae and Jadyn flew to Vegas to visit my parents early in August and OF COURSE Lea, the girls and I went down to join them. It was pure heaven!! We went to every restaurant imaginable, shopped, and stayed up every night laughing. Jadyn is such a big girl now!! I hate that I don't live close enough to watch her grow up, however, it makes the times we are together that much more special!!

Tylre Graduates...

When Adam and I first started dating, Tylre was 7 years old. I cannot believe she is now 18 and has graduated from high school! Time really does fly. We went to California in May to celebrate Tylre's graduation and have a little fun in the sun. Tylre graduated with honors which made us extremely proud!! She is headed to Santa Rosa Junior College in the fall and we are so excited for her! Congrats Tylre! We love you!!

Kelsey's Triathlon!

Adam was more excited for this than his own triathlons!

Adam's triathlon coach puts on a small kids tri for the children of her friends and family each year. It was so much fun!! Kelsey was so excited to do it and she did AWESOME!! She is already begging to do another one. I think she may have caught the bug...

Triathlon Man...

So my husband is a triathlete.

He can swim, bike and run with the best of them.

I envy his endurance. I am winded after one mile.

Adam and his brother Jeremy competed in the Daybreak Triathlon together in May. It was such a fun day!! They both did AMAZING! Many of you know that last year Jeremy had a very bad bike accident where he fractured his skull and about 13 other bones. Well one year, countless hours of physical therapy and 1 shoulder surgery later, he finished 2nd in his age group!! He is a beast!!

Congrats to Adam and Jem! We love watching you two compete!!

Wrapping up School Year 2009-2010

Time really does fly whether you are having fun or not! I cannot believe the school year is already over!! Maya "graduated" from 3 year old preschool. Her school had a cute program and Maya sang a song all by herself about a puppy! I was surprised our shy Maya did such a great job!! Congrats Maya we love you!

Kels is moving on to 2nd grade. She looks like such a big girl to me now. This year was amazing for Kels. She has turned into a huge reader just like her Mom!! She loves learning and has excelled at school. Great job Kiki!!

Both girls tried out for dance teams at The Dance Club. Kelsey made Small Stars and Maya made MicroStarburst! Both girls were THRILLED!!! Unfortunately for me this means I have girls in dance lessons 4 days a week! Sheesh we are going to be busy!!

Jamaica

Wow.

My blogging sucks. No other word to describe it.

After you fall behind in your blogging, the last thing you want to do is blog because you are so behind! Funny how that works...

In April, Adam and I went to Jamaica for a week to watch my best friend Angela get married! The wedding was BEAUTIFUL and she was the happiest bride I have ever seen.

Angela and I have been best friends since 1989. When I met her she has coke bottle glasses and frizzy hair. I had frizzy hair and really bad teeth. Needless to say we have both come a long way.

There is a special bond you have with someone that has known you since childhood. Ange knows me better than most people in this world. She has seen me at my best, worst, and every stop in between. She is always there for me, even if its 2am in the morning. It has been amazing to be friends with her through so many of life's stages. I was honored to be her matron of honor at her wedding. It was a great wedding and an INCREDIBLE trip!! My parents and my sisters flew out for the wedding as well so it was also a family vacation!

Love you Ange and Alex!! I know you will have many years of being happily married!!

Trip to Jersey...

Oh New Jersey!! My true home! How I love you so!

Earlier this month I flew to NJ to throw my best friend Angela a bridal shower. She is getting married in Jamaica next month and Adam and I are sooooooo excited for the wedding! We are going to Jamaica for a week to celebrate with her and are thrilled for her and Alex. While I was in Jersey I spent some quality time with my cute niece Jaydn! She is such a big girl now and has the CUTEST personality!!! My visit was short but very sweet! Goodbye Jersey! I shall return soon!!

Dancing Diva...

Kelsey's dance year is almost over! Once again this year she has grown so much as a dancer and has ENJOYED herself! She truly loves dancing and works so very hard to do the best she can! She always makes me so proud!!!

Kelsey turns 7...

While we were in St. George celebrating Christmas we also celebrated Kelsey's birthday! My sweet Kels just turned 7 years old! I can't believe it. Time really does fly. Since her birthday falls over Christmas break, Kels always has her party a few weeks early. This year, we took her and some of her friends to Princess and the Frog! What a great movie!!! I love how Disney has returned to their classic animation. I thoroughly enjoyed the film; it is just as good as the Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty and all of the other Disney Classics. After the movie we went out to ice cream!!

For Kelsey's actual birthday, we went to Pirate Island Pizza in St. George with my parents. They take the "Super Grandparent" prize this year! For Christmas, they got the girls a Wii with all of the accessories and games. Then for Kelsey's birthday they got her a Nintendo DS. Hello spoiled! I don't even know how to play any of the games, but I am having fun learning!!!
