This Tuesday for Show and Tell Kelsey and her classmates had to bring in an item that started with the first letter of their name. So after thinking about it for a while, Adam found Kelsey a cloth poster he had with a Koala and a Kangaroo on it! It was given to Adam from his Mom. She is from Australia and Adam's Dad served his mission there. Kent (Adam's dad) gave Lorraine (Adam's mom) and her family the lessons. He and his companion also baptized Lorraine, her parents and her sister! A couple of years later, Lorraine and her family came to America to take her to Ricks. Along the way, they stopped in Utah to say "hello" to Kent. He and Lorraine went on a few dates after that and remained close while she was at Ricks. The next year she transferred to BYU and soon after that her and Kent got married! Eight children and almost 40 years later they are still happily married. Kelsey was so excited to tell her classmates about how her grandparents met! She is so proud to be part Australian!!

My Not So Little Baby
My Maya, or "Little Baby Maya" as she is known in our family, is growing up so fast! She is the sweetest, most precious child. I enjoy every moment we have together. She is so smart! She can already count to 20, knows all of her ABC's and colors! I took these pictures of her and Kelsey on Saturday before they went to a party and I couldnt believe how BIG she looked! She is going to be as tall as Kels in no time!!! Maya, you may not be a baby anymore, but to us you will always be our Little Baby Maya. We Love You!!!

Goodbye Midnight Sun!!!!

Today my friends is a sad day. I just found out Stephenie Meyer has put the release of Midnight Sun on hold INDEFINITELY!!!!! For those of you who have been hiding under a rock, Midnight Sun is the much anticipated release of Stephenie Meyer, the author of the beloved Twilight Series. Midnight Sun was the story of Twilight, written from our Edward's perspective. Stephenie decided to discontinue writing the book due to copies of the unfinished book leaking out onto internet websites. I am distraught. I was really looking forward to reading Twilight from Edwards point of view. Stephenie has released the unfinished copy on her website for those of us who want to read it. So for all of you that were waiting so patiently for the release of Midnight Sun, today is the end of the Twilight Road. Feel free to comment about your grief. Goodbye Edward. You will be missed, but certainly not forgotten.

Maya's Ballet Class!
Today was Maya's first day of Ballet!!! She is taking a class called Fairy Tale Ballet, where they dress up like a princess, learn ballet, read a story and color. She had so much FUN! After class when I was buckling her into her carseat she said, "Mommy I have FUN at BALLET!" She was practically shrieking and smiling from ear to ear. Her teacher is the wonderful Ms. Bethany who made Maya feel so welcome on her first day! She is already asking me when she can go back!
